Built as an icebreaker, the MV Polar Star has gone through a complete conversion into an Arctic expedition cruise ship. She’s outfitted with a dining room and bar, a large lounge, lecture room, and library. All cabins are outside and feature a window or porthole. The majority are double cabins with two lower berths. Two suites and four junior suites with queen-size berths are available. All staterooms are comfortable and cozy. She’s equipped with an inviting dining room, a public lounge, a lecture hall, a small gym, a library, and a bar.
